Woman claims Beyonce's father offered to buy her baby to give to Beyonce and Jay Z

We just received an earth shattering report from Star Magazine. The magazine interviewed Mathew Knowles' jumpoff, a 40 year old marketing exec named Alexsandra Wight. Mathew got Alexsandra pregnant while he was married to ex-wife Tina Knowles.

Well Alexsandra has a story to tell. According to her, when she first told Mathew that she was pregnant, Mathew asked her to give the baby to Jay Z and Beyonce . . . so they could raise the child as their own!

Here's what she said:

My first thought when he asked me if I would give up our child to Beyonce and Jay Z was, 'Are you out of your mind?' . . . Nothing in this world, no amount of money, would make me give up my child. You can't BUY my child from me."

And just in case you think the chick is LYING . . . Star magazine says that she RECORDED THE CONVERSATION where Mathew is saying that ISH!!

O.K. let's try and ANALYZE this situation. Why would Mathew offer to buy a baby for Jay Z and Beyonce???? This story just keeps getting weirder and weirder. We don't know WHAT to think . . .

Omotola Wins West African Actress of the Year at Screen Nation Film and Television Award

 

The actress, who recently completed a tour of four countries on a project she is still keeping under wraps, was on Sunday announced as favorite West African actress of the year at the reputable Screen Nation Film and Television Award, which held in indigo O2 Arena in the UK. The award ceremony was hosted by Angelica Bell and Michael Underwood.

In winning this year’s award, Omotola beats other nominees such as Jackie Appiah, Mercy Johnson, Genevieve Nnaji , Ama K Abebrese and others. The award further confirms the international brand following of the actress who is also an ambassador of the United Nations and Amnesty International. Omotola, who has been adjudged as the West African actress with the highest number of following on the internet, has been doing so much on the international scene of late.

Her international expedition has taken her to countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone on charitable ventures. Her charitable ventures earned her the United Nations and Amnesty International ambassador and an honorary citizen of Liberia; she took to the runway to help draw attention to hunger in some African countries.

The Screen Nation film and TV Awards is a televised event, which takes place in October during Black History Month and combines the glamour of international movie stars alongside British talent. The awards ceremony – dubbed by the media as the ‘’Black BAFTAs’’ – brings together actors, actresses, directors and filmmakers from the UK and international film and TV industry.

Nigerian playwright, Jallo wins African Playwriting Prize

Zainab Jallo, a poet and playwright from Nigeria has won the West African zonal prize of the Arterial Network maiden continental Playwriting Competition.

Jallo’s play, Onions Make Us Cry, and five others from other zones (Northern Africa, Central Africa, Southern Africa, Eastern Africa and Western Africa) came top in the zonal finals.

Loph's pregnant fiancee discharged from hospital + His burial details

 

MC Loph's pregnant fiancee, Nkiru Orji, who was in the car

 that killed the musician, his sister and cousin, has been discharged 

from the hospital after partially recovering from the injuries she sustained

from the fatal accident. Nkiru, who is now in stable health,

is incredibly still pregnant. Isn't God wonderful?

Meanwhile MC Loph will begin his final journey on Sunday Oct 23,

with a candle light procession/tribute concert at Ojez ,

National stadium, Surulere. 

The wake keep is on Thursday Oct 27, and

he will be buried at his home town, Igwuaro,

Umunze, Anambra state on Friday Oct 28th.

May his soul continue to rest in peace..amen.

Dating Options: The Nigerian Factor

Okay, so we all know that 

being single in our culture 

after a certain age is like

 driving around in a car

 with a manual transmission

 and no air-conditioning

 …yep not life threatening

 but frustrating as heck

and sometimes disheartening.

 Finding the right partner 

is certainly not an easy 

road to navigate, however,

 I feel like the level of difficulty

 is increased exponentially

 in Nigeria.

Prior to moving back

 to Nigeria, I had heard 

all these amazing stories 

about how people moved 

back and got married 

within 6 months and so on. One story in particular stuck in my mind. This girl, was just

 hanging outside her house when her neighbour came by to say hi with a friend of his. 

I imagine megawatts of “thunder and lightning” must have occurred, because after dating 

said friend seriously (I mean seeing each other everyday and all the other typical 

aspects of being in a relationship) for 6 months, he proposed and the rest as they say 

is history – introduction, engagement, wedding and the whole nine yards.

I repeated this story and many others to my wide network of girlfriends and we 

did a lot of oohing andaahing over how romantic these stories were, oh, I forgot to

 mention that this was during the “innovative” period of wedding websites.

 I can’t tell you how many hours I spent going to these sites and looking at all

 the lovely pictures and reading the various “how we met” stories. I was definitely

 an old school romantic … sigh.

So of course my girls and I would go on about how lucky women at home 

were with so many “hot” Nigerian men to choose from…right … WRONG!

What people forget to mention is that sure there are men a dime a

 dozen, however how many of them areELIGIBLE?

Okay so let’s get some definitions going …

Mudi to to sue magazine over gay story

A popular celebrity/gossip magazine some weeks back carried a story calling one of Nigeria's leading designers, Clement Enajomo, the creative designer of Mudi Africa, gay. A few blogs also carried it.

Mudi is pained about the report which he has described as not only malicious but the highest attempt at mischief and has asked his lawyer, Festus Keyamo to sue the magazine if they don't retract the story and publish full page apologies in national dailies.

I've known Mudi for over 12 years...was his muse for many years...there's no truth to this gay rumours. I'm in the fashion/modeling industry and I know the gay people...Mudi ain't one of them.
