Billionaire’s son washes cars for a living

image
His current appearance bears no resemblance to his background. Haggard and unkempt, Michael, a son of a billionaire, looks what he is: a tramp. How did he come to his current state?
In time past, he belonged to the caucus of children born with silver spoons in their mouth. But now, he dwells in the dirty part of a neighbourhood, where his grandparents has once held sway. That is where he now strives hard to eke out a living.
Today, a reversal of fortune seems to have set in for Michael, son of a one-time popular billionaire car dealer on Allen Avenue in Ikeja. Unlike some of his peers whose fortune has turned better, Michael’s has become worse.
findings have revealed that Michael, who used to live in one of his father’s mansions in the heart of Ikeja, has now turned into a full time street urchin.
According to sources, Michael, who is now a school drop-out, spends his daily income which he makes from washing cars, on hard drugs he has allegedly been addicted to from those days when the going was good for him and his dad.
His travails, according to sources, started two years ago when his father allegedly became bankrupt and had to sell all his property, including his houses and his fleet of cars, thus rendering his children homeless, including Michael.
“Michael has been a drug addict from the time his dad was in money. The man did not have time for him because he had many wives. The boy himself was not serious. He would abandon school and start spending the money given to him on drugs. When the man sold all his property, he did not look back because he had given up on him.
“Now the boy begs to wash cars for the people to survive. But instead of saving part of what he makes from that, he spends everything on drugs every day. If you come here every night, you ‘ll see him among the touts taking hard drugs,” said one of his friends who preferred anonymity.
Although he admitted being the son of the said billionaire car dealer, Michael declined comments on what actually pushed him to his current condition.got this from saturday mirror....well wish him all the best.

Court gives NDLEA 21 days ultimatium to pay Baba Suwe N25m

image
Justice Yetunde Idowu of a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja yesterday ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), to pay the N25million judgment fee awarded against it to popular Yoruba actor and comedian, Babatunde Omidina (Baba Suwe), within 21 days. In her ruling, Justice Idowu declared that: “I grant a conditional Stay of Execution. The N25 million judgment debt should be paid to the Chief Registrar of the Lagos High Court, who will in turn pay it into an interest yielding account of a bank that both parties choose. The money should be paid within 21 days from today”.
Justice Idowu while giving her ruling on an order of Stay of Execution brought to the court on her earlier judgement by the NDLEA said the applicant has not given sufficient proof to show that paying the money will harm its operation in any way, stressing that what is brought is a mere piece of paper that did not show any details of spending and expenditure.
She added that collecting a bank guarantee in lieu of the judgment debt pending appeal means leaving the money with the debtor to do as he wishes until the case is determined.

Speaking to Saturday Mirror in a telephone interview last night, NDLEA spokes person, Mitchell Ofoyeju, said NDLEA lawyers would study the judgement of the court before any step would be taken on the ruling.

It would be recalled that NDLEA, before yesterday’s ruling, had earlier applied to the court for an order of Stay of Execution on her judgment delivered on November 24, 2011 pending the determination of the appeal case filed by the agency on December 6, 2011 against the judgment.

The Director of Prosecution and Legal Services of NDLEA, Mr. Femi Oloruntoba, while moving the application before the court then stated that the agency would be prevented from performing its statutory functions as well prosecute the appeal if it is made to pay the judgment sum of N25 million as it is half of its monthly available resources.

He also asked for any other order that the court deems fit to make in the circumstance while stating that the agency is contesting the judgment in its entirety.

Part of the grounds on which NDLEA based its application for stay of judgment execution include the fact that there exists an appeal and substantial grounds for appeal, that the judgment of the court of appeal will be rendered nugatory if it succeeds, that the court lacks jurisdiction to have adjudicated on the subject matter of proceedings or award damages or make the orders it made.

The other grounds include the fact that NDLEA has shown that impecuniosities or lack of fund will deprive her from prosecuting the appeal and carry out her statutory duties and that Baba Suwe will not be able to refund the judgment sum of N25 million if NDLEA succeeds on appeal.

According to Oloruntoba, the agency does not get N7billion monthly but N52 million monthly which is the total sum of all its activities including investigations and litigations as well as running cost adding that out of the N7billion that they get annually, N633 million goes into workers salary.

Cruz: Extraordinary model

image

Adedamola Adebowale, also known as Cruz, tells the story of his entry into the heady world of modelling, it’s
almost as if he puts in no effort. “I was hanging out with my friend, Dan, when his elder brother, Andrew Ogbeche, Nigeria Super Model 2008,he saw me and asked if I was a model, and that if I wasn’t, I should be, and that was how it all began,” said Cruz.
While this answer gives the impression that Cruz didn’t even have modelling aspirations in the first place, Saturday Mirror’s further probing of the full details surrounding the start of his modelling career elicited more information.
“Actually, when he asked if I was a model, my response was that I wasn’t but I was aspiring to be. So when he heard that, he taught me how to catwalk for just 45 minutes and I’ve not looked back since then.”
Cruz’s revelation that he learnt to catwalk in just 45 minutes lends credence to the claim in some quarters that it’s easy to learn to be a model.
Cruz refutes that school of thought, however. “Learning to be a model is just as difficult as, if not more difficult than several other professions. I could learn to catwalk in just three-quarters of an hour because I already had passion for fashion modelling and I had been researching on it and practicing it before Ogbeche scouted me.”
His chance meeting with Ogbeche wasn’t in vain, though. Immediately both of them agreed on pushing Cruz’s modelling career, it took off on a positive note.
“Since Ogbeche came into my life, it’s been one fashion show after the other,” admitted Cruz. “The first job I went for was the screening of ThisDay Music and Fashion Festival 2008 and I was one the 25 boys that wore Ozwald Boateng and Chris Aire.
“More jobs came my way. They are so many but some of the top ones are Sleek Symphony of Style 2008, Linda Ikeji’s Style Night 2008, 2009 and 2010, Arise Fashion Week 2010, Australian Lace Fashion Week 2010, Lagos Style Week 2010, MTN Fashion Week 2011 and many, many more that I can’t recall.”
All these jobs he’s done and continuing have made Cruz start referring to himself as “one of Nigeria’s top male models.”
Without caring if it would seem as if he is blowing his own trumpet, he said, “I truly am. I’m very popular when it comes to Nigeria fashion business. I have a huge fan base on Facebook where my jobs are posted and updated constantly and people keep commending them.”
As he soared higher in the Nigeria fashion industry, he also became sought after outside Nigeria. “I’ve also modelled at fashion shows in Ghana, Benin Republic and Dubai,” he disclosed.
With all the experience he had garnered at home and abroad, Cruz embarked on a mission that has turned out to be the highlight of his career till date.
“In December 2011, the Best Model of the World competition held in Istanbul, Turkey. I sponsored myself to represent Nigeria and I’m happy that I didn’t waste my time and money doing so. I didn’t emerge as the Best World Model but I was chosen as the Best African Model, Best Designer Costume, Stylish Guy of the Competition and Best Wardrobe.”
Explaining the awards, he said, “Best African Model means I’m the best model in Africa. Best Designer Costume means one of my costumes was the best designed. Stylish Guy of the competition simply means that I was the most stylish male at the competition. Best Wardrobe is that my costumes overall were the best.”
Needless to say, all these awards won at an esteemed international modelling competition at one go is no mean feat for Cruz. Definitely, they should have impacted his career further, and Saturday Mirror asked him if they indeed have.
“Oh yes,” he gushed in confirmation. “The Best Africa Model award has opened so many doors for me as designers all over the world want to work with me. All the awards have brought more opportunities my way for me to showcase my modelling talent.”
One of such opportunities is his home state, Ondo, appointing him as fashion ambassador of the state. “I’m so happy about that,” he gushed again. “It’s already a done deal. And it’s in line with my dreams as a model and entrepreneur.
“I don’t intend to be just a model. I’m also going to be a big player in the entrepreneurial aspect of modelling and my role as Ondo State fashion ambassador will help me enormously to help other models. For instance, I’m going to organise three fashion shows, two in Lagos and one in Ondo State, so you can imagine how many models I’ll be able to project.

Kardashian Sisters SUED FOR $5 MIL Your Diet Pills Are BOGUS!!!!

kim Kardashian and her sisters waged a campaign of LIES when they claimed they got their rock hard bikini bodies from a diet pill called QuickTrim ... this according to a new $5 MILLION lawsuit.

The point of the suit -- a bunch of people in NY claim there's no POSSIBLE way QuickTrim could've helped Kim, Khloe and Kourtney lose weight ... because the main ingredient is caffeine. According to the suit, "The FDA has determined [caffeine] is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control."

Enter the Kardashians ... celebrity spokespeople who are featured on just about every single product QuickTrim sells.

According to the suit, filed in NY by Bursor & Fisher, the Kardashians fed lies to the public through commercials, magazines and social media since 2009 ... like when Kim went on Twitter and said, "Our QuickTrim cleanse will be massive! Khloe has already lost so much weight."

The plaintiffs claim they would NEVER have purchased the QuickTrim products if they would have known the truth ... and claim the Kardashian testimonials were completely unsubstantiated.

Now, the Kardashians, QuickTrim and various companies that sold the products are being sued for more than $5 million in damages.

So far, no comment from the Kardashian camp.

someone can trace this big thief, Ole. See him posing in suit with that ‘horrible’ fine face, lol, lazy man. We got hold of some of his Facebook chat with a young female he tried to swindle. The girl was smart enough to know he was lying and accused him of it, after few weeks. The next thing he did was to quickly block her.  Read some of his cheap tricks, may be not too cheap though, lol. By the way, the pictures he used on the particular Facebook account, Oladipupo Otedola read the chats...
