GHANA’S couple at this year’s Big Brother Africa StarGame seems to have contradicted themselves as questions about their relationship have started popping up.

Eazzy, known in real life as Mildred Ashong and her 22-year old boyfriend Keita Osei have confirmed to Big Brother that they have been dating for the past one and half year.

However, Eazzy denied she was in any sort of erotic relationship when she made an appearance on e.tv Ghana’s entertainment show, The Late Nite Celebrity Show (TLNCS), barely a year ago.

Precisely on July 27, 2011, Eazzy told host, Ohenewaa that she was ‘still very single”.

The 25-year old sassy highlife artiste said, “I’m still not married, still very single. So… there’s a lot of mingling you know? Too much trouble! I can’t say anything about wedding bells. Not at all! I’m yet to be in a relationship.”

However, contrary to her words on TLNCS, the two confirmed their relationship status in an interview with Big Brother yesterday and explained how their relationship would be enhanced or affected through the Big Brother Competition.

“Back in there, before we got into the house we had just been that couple that has kept a relationship underground. And when I say underground, I mean secretive.”

“I think that before, if it has to happen… I hope that it doesn’t happen because I will like to see him after 90 days and 91 days and I want him to see me in here. But if it does happen before I leave… you’ve just got to behave yourself.You just have to be the man that you are and the man that you’ve always been for a year and half. And I wanna be the woman that you’ve known for a year and a half. And like I said, it’s all about trust and I’ll try to deal with it and hold my guard.”

Deducing from the two interviews, it cannot be clear as to whether the two are actually in an erotic relationship or just keeping up appearance in order to win the competition.

So far, there hasn’t been any drama from the Ghanaian folks and DKB, Ghana’s celebrity housemate is remarkably warming up to his new environment, just being his funny old self.

This wasn't Rihanna's FIRST run in with "exhaustion" in recent days. On Saturday afternoon, Rih DID NOT SHOW UP for her Saturday Night Live rehearsal. She told producers that she was suffering from exhaustion and the flu.Either way, Rihanna is doing better. After a brief hospital stay, doctors allowed Rihanna to fly back to her home in Los Angeles. She arrived in Cali early this morning.

PRESIDENT OBAMA I Support Gay Marriage

For the first time in the history of the United States ... the sitting President has endorsed gay marriage. 

In an interview with ABC News, President Barack Obama said, "I think same sex couples should be able to get married."
Obama explained, "I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married."

The statement comes just days after Vice President Joe Biden threw his support behind gay marriage ... which seemingly forced the President to address the issue he had skirted throughout his presidency.

"The Avengers" Conquer Box Office with $207.4 Million Debut

 "The Avengers" has extended its box-office superpowers with a record $207.4 million opening weekend domestically, an even bigger start than originally projected.

Final figures from distributor Disney on Monday put the film's debut $7.1 million higher than the studio had estimated a day earlier.

With a superstar cast, great reviews and glowing word of mouth from fans, "The Avengers" bounded past the previous record of $169.2 million set by last year's "Harry Potter" finale.

The Marvel Comics adaptation also has taken in $447.4 million overseas since it started rolling out in international markets a week earlier. That brings its worldwide total to $654.8 million in just 12 days.

The film drew in comic-book fans and general audiences alike, with the audience evenly split between those over and under 25, according to Disney. Teens packed theaters, couples came to see it as a date movie, and parents with children made it a family outing.

"Fans, non-fans, parents, non-parents. Any kind of descriptor you can come up with, people are embracing this film," said Dave Hollis, Disney's head of distribution.

Over the same first weekend of May 10 years earlier, "Spider-Man" rocked Hollywood with a $114.8 million debut, the first movie ever to open with more than $100 million in a single weekend.
"It was unthinkable. People thought, `Wow, a blockbuster film should do $100 million in its whole run, not just opening weekend,'" said Paul Dergarabedian, analyst for box-office tracker Hollywood.com. "The $200 million opening weekend is something I didn't think I would ever see, or something I wouldn't see until after I retired."
But since summer 2002, other blockbusters have nudged opening-weekend records higher and higher: 2006's "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" with $135.6 million; 2007's"Spider-Man 3" with $151.1 million; 2008's "The Dark Knight" with $158.4 million; and finally, last summer's "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

"The Avengers" leaped beyond the "Potter" finale with a long, shrewd buildup by Marvel Studios, which had tucked teasers for its eventual superhero ensemble tale into solo films such as "Iron Man," "Thor" and "Captain America" for years.
Directed by Joss Whedon, who has been reading "The Avengers" comics since he was a boy, the film features Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
The sum of all of those superheroes proved more than the parts. "The Avengers" already has surpassed the worldwide box-office totals for "Iron Man," "Iron Man 2," "Thor" and "Captain America" in their entire runs.

Zimbabwe’s Teclar has made it clear to her fellow Housemates that she needs to be referred to as‘Princess’ at all times.

Heading the imaginary Kingdom of Zamunda, Teclar has recruited an impressive number of servants in only 24 hours – all with an important role to play in her Kingdom (which is incidentally located in the Big Brother House.)

According to Teclar, her little sister Menata is second in charge, while South Africa’s Lee is the ‘Crown Prince’. Liberia’s Luke holds the important position of ‘Pastor’. Earlier today, Teclar turned her nose up at the possibility of following directive from current Downville Head of House, Keitta and instead insisted Keitta needs to submit to her.

She lodged a request for a princess gown, as well as garb for her team of bodyguards, which Big Brother politely declined, encouraging the Princess of Zamunda to use her imagination.

Could we see a power struggles between the Princess of Zamunda and the Head of House this week? Well, we’ll have to wait and see!
