One of the victims of the October 5 lynching at Omukiri Community, Aluu in Rivers State, Ugonna Obuzor, 18, has been laid to rest. He was buried today in Ahoada, Port Harcourt.
Ugonna, Lloyd, Tekena and Chiadika were undergraduate students of the University of Port Harcourt who were cut down in their prime in a gruesome way by a mob who wrongly suspected they were robbers – investigations later revealed they were victims of a false accusation.
May their souls continue to rest in peace.
