John and Janae Vorrath are now the proud parents of a newborn baby girl. John had been deployed as a National Guard Member to the Middle East. The couple had resigned themselves to the fact that John would not be home for another 6 months.
While watching the babies birth on an iPad on Face Time, he was wonderfully surprised. He was handed a note by his commander that said he was granted a leave to go home. John decided he wanted to surprise his wife and did not tell her of his plans. This video records his surprise homecoming and their beautiful reunion. Your heart will melt when you watch the tender exchange as he is reunited with his wife again, and sees his newborn for the first time in person. The happiness his disbelieving, two year old later expresses is just pure joy, and sure to bring a smile to your face. Being in the military can be so rough on people especially when they have to miss the most important days of their families lives. At least this family was fortunate enough to share this awesome experience.
