kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' divorce drama heats up as reports that Kanye West and Reggie Bush may be subpoenaed surface.
Kim Kardashian's divorce could be more entertaining than anything the E! Network has ever produced.
The reality TV star's divorce proceedings haven't even begun yet, but "the gloves are about to come off," a source told RadarOnline.Earlier this week it was reported that Kardashian's legal team subpoenaed Myla Sinanaj --Kris Humphries' most recent girlfriend, of five months.
Sources told TMZ that Sinanaj has plenty to say about her relationship with the Brooklyn Nets forward and has text messages and emails -- including some that make outrageous claims that Kim's own mother orchestrated her infamous sex tape -- that could prove damaging to his fraud claims against Kim.
The Kardashian-Humphries divorce is becoming a chess game, with Humphries' lawyers now making their own move on the board, reportedly planning on issuing subpoenas for Kim's current beau Kanye West, and ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush. A source told RadarOnline that Humphries' lawyers hadn't planned on delving into Kim's past relationships, but everything is fair game.
Sources say that Kim's ex Reggie Bush could be dragged into the mess because there were reports earlier this year that she was considering getting back together with the Miami Dolphins running back, and Humphries' attorneys are curious to know what she told Bush about her decision to file for divorce.
And since the 31-year-old reality TV queen recently admitted to Oprah Winfrey that her current boyfriend, Kanye West, "knows everything" about her, it makes perfect sense that Humphries' lawyers would also drag him in to be deposed and possibly testify about their relationship.
"[Humphries' lawyer] has no choice but to depose [West]. Kim has publicly said that she and Kanye have been friends for years, and Kris' lawyers want to know if the two were ever intimate before they went public with their relationship a few months ago," a source explained to RadarOnline, but adds that Kris doesn't suspect Kim was unfaithful to him during their 72-day marriage.
Another reason the NBA player's lawyers are interested in West is that he appeared on an episode of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York." Kris' lawyers want to explore the rapper's appearance on the reality show and want to know what his involvement will be going forward. "Kris believes that Kim felt tremendous pressure to get married to him on camera, and this goes to the heart of his claim that the marriage is fraudulent," the source added.
Though there was much reported debate, it was ultimately decided that the upcoming depositions won't be filmed, and should take place within the next several weeks. Once both sides have been deposed, sources say a trial date will likely be set for later this year.
