Fans criticise Brymo for posting nude picture online

We aren’t entirely sure what R&B-Pop singer Olawale ‘Brymo‘ Ashimi is up to nowadays on the internet.
Yesterday, the Chocolate City act posted a photo of nude female with the caption ‘#aphrodisiac #missbootang‘. The lady’s head is cut off in the photo.
His followers on twitter and Instagram, where he posted the photo, are however not too impressed.
‘Why are you posting porn, do you masturbate or what? yuck. Totally lost my respect for you‘, one Yusuf Santuraki responded to Brymo’s post.
Another follower Abiel Keli wrote ‘The fame is getting to his head Abi’.
In other news, Brymo’s second album and first under Chocolate City ‘#TheSonOfaKapenta‘ is due out on November 15, 2012.

Football club signs up Lionel Messi’s Two-Weeks-Old Son

LIONEL MESSI’S two-week-old baby has already signed for a football club!

Argentina outfit Newell’s — where football god Messi played at youth level before joining Barcelona — have snapped up infant Thiago as a member.

Newell’s will be hoping their decision to beat the competition early pays off by Messi’s powers of soccer genius passing down through his genes to the little lad.

Baby Thiago, who was signed by his grandfather, is eight years younger than when his old man joined them in 1995.

The tot was born on November 2 which is one part of a bizarre riddle involving the current two best players in the world.

Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo is 869 days older than his great rival Messi.

But astonishingly, Ronaldo’s son — Cristiano Ronaldo Junior — is ALSO 869 days older than Messi’s lad.

Goal-getter Messi smashed another record last weekend as he reached 76 goals for the year after a brace in Barca's 4-2 win at Mallorca — surpassing Pele's previous record of 75.

Hell Breaks Loose After Pastor Impregnates Member’s Wife

doctor_rape

All is not well with Senior Pastor of the God’s Victory Mission in Mbaitoli, Imo State, Pastor John Ohih as, according to reliable sources, he allegedly impregnated the wife of a member of his church. A source who spoke on the condition of anonymity also revealed that Pastor John has been in the habit of having carnal knowledge of his flocks before his present ordeal. His latest victim, is in her early 30s with six children for her husband.
The source further revealed that the gullible woman got in contact with the Pastor when her mother in-law was ill and somebody recommended the man of God to her. After the healing exercise, the home and church of the Pastor became a regular abode for the woman who we later gathered got pregnant for the cleric.
The source said her husband has vowed to action against Pastor John. What seemed to have infuriated the husband as the source hinted further was the fact that his wife was still nursing an 18 months old baby before she was impregnated by the Pastor. The shameless woman has since fled her husband’s home, abandoning her 18 months old baby.

NCC bans promos, lotteries by telecom operators

Regulatory body of Nigerian telecom industry, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC),announced an immediate ban of promos and lotteries run by telecoms operators in the country.
The regulatory body had affirmed that the poor network and congestion currently experienced by Nigerians resulted from the several promos put up by the different network providers.
Director, Public Affairs of the commission, Tony Ojobo had disclosed this in a statement , asserting that that the commission had received several complaints from consumers that did not favour the different promos offered by the network providers.
The statement reads: “Consistent with its processes, the commission has carefully evaluated the complaints received especially against the backdrop of sustaining the integrity of the networks, the general interest of the consumers, the socio-economic impact of these promotions on operators and other relevant stakeholders.
“The commission therefore has banned all promotions by telecommunications network operators as well as lotteries being carried out on such networks. This ban covers all proposed and approved promotions and lotteries on which the commission has given approval further to the memorandum of understanding (MOU) entered into with the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC)”
The commission said the ban takes immediate effect and shall continue to remain in force until such a time as may be determined by the Commission. Affected operators are Globacom, MTN, Intercellular, Visafone, Etisalat, Airtel and Multilinks.
The regulatory body had promised to assured all telecommunications consumers of its determination towards ensuring that quality services are being offered by their network providers.
“ In due regard to the afore-mentioned responsibilities, therefore and having observed that these promotions have increased the number of minutes available to subscribers for use within a limited period of time thereby creating congestion in the networks as subscribers try to use up the available minutes within the stipulated time.
“That on-net calls were now being offered by operators at tariffs well below the prevailing inter-connect rates thereby introducing anti-competitive practices and behaviour.
“That termination of calls were becoming increasingly difficult from one network to another and overall consumer experience on the networks has become very poor thereby making it extremely difficult for subscribers to make calls successfully,” NCC noted.

Second hand clothes cause candidiasis, hepatitis – expert

Uzorji in Jos on Tuesday said that such diseases were air borne and could be contracted easily through the constant use of second hand clothes.

“Those that patronises second clothes do not have the slightest idea of who the first user was.
“Those selling the wares also do not take their time to wash these clothes very well before marketing them.

“So the lack of adequate information about the negative effects of these second hand clothes among our people has placed users at high risk and a major cause of concern to public health experts,” she said.

The medical expert decried the situation where some women buy inner wears from the second hand clothes dealers and declared that such women were at the risk of contracting vaginal infections.
She advised the people to ensure that the items were washed before being used, stressing that such step would go a long way in reducing the chances of such infections.

Uzorji specifically advised that such second hand clothes be washed with hot water and detergent before being used so as to reduce the chances of any infection.

Why You Cant Get Over Your Ex

Its not news that breaking up has got to be one of the suckiest times in our lives and I wish someone had warned me about how painful they really can be. But apparently I missed that memo. Getting back on your feet again and learning to trust someone again is a journey in itself. But ultimately break-ups lead to us understanding life, relationships and ourselves much more but despite this it’s TOUGH.
You can catch up with long lost friends, keep in touch with distant relatives, oh, and spy on what your ex is doing. With over 900 million users worldwide, Facebook is part of everyday life. But for many of us, it can torture us through a break up. One third of users admit to using Facebook to check up on old flames – possibly delaying their ability to heal emotionally and move on with their lives.
An article titled Facebook Surveillance of Former Romantic Partners: Association with Post Breakup Recovery and Personal Growth, published in Cyberpsychology, Behaviour and Social Networking looked into the effects of continual Facebook contact and surveillance of an ex-partner. Studying 464 unlucky-in-love participants, researchers monitored their Facebook usage following a breakup and plotted their emotional recovery.
To counter this, the best thing to do is to talk to friends, family, and any poor soul who is willing to listen. For girls, get all your girlfriends together or get someone close to you to really listen to how you feel. Talk everything out, because it makes you feel so much better. If you are tempted to call your ex .. call your best friend instead. The worse thing that you can do is to spend time alone! Make sure you book yourself out and keep yourself busy, because you are less tempted to wallow in your own self-pity.
For the guys – Try and hang out more with your mates .. you know the ones you neglected while you had a girlfriend. They will probably welcome you with open arms, because they haven’t seen you recently anyway. You guys should do whatever you do to make you feel better. I know talking doesn’t help you as much as it helps chicks .. So engross yourself in a sport that you have forgotten, Xbox, beer, grunting … whatever makes you happy and takes your mind of your ex.
Even if you parted amicably it can be hard to cope with an emotional break-up. Accepting that someone won’t be in your life anymore can be a difficult pill to swallow but it’s important to maintain your composure and stay confident. Taking some time out and enjoying time with friends is acceptable post-boyfriend behavior but there are a few things you really shouldn’t do if you want to move on.
Don’t become a ‘All by myself’ singing spinster being eaten by Alsatians like Bridget Jones – hold you head-up high and avoid these post-relationship pitfalls….
Well, it turns out those doing a spot of digi-spying on their ex found it harder to get on with their lives. Sounds like time to do a spot of de-friending…
What do you think? Do you still check up on your ex?

Aftermath of floods: Deadly disease looms – Scientist

flood-delta1-600x250

The natural disaster that hit Nigeria recently is at the verge of stirring a deadly disease, says a scientist, Dr. Sam Awolola. The Doctor has warned that there are tendencies of imminent high cases of mosquito borne diseases in flood affected areas in the country if nothing is done urgently regarding the aftermath of the unfortunate disaster.
Dr. Awolola who doubles as a Research Fellow and member of the Society for Mosquito Control in Nigeria, SMCN, urged the Federal government to urgently put measures in place to check high breeding of mosquito in the areas with a view to ensuring that stagnant water does not become a bigger problem to the country.
According to him, “When you have flood in an area, you will never find mosquitoes anywhere near the area until the flood begins to rescind. But when it rescinds you find various types of mosquitoes coming back to lay eggs and when this happens, it becomes a big problem.”
He also emphasised on the importance of protection against mosquitoes, remarking that while it is good to ensure that residents have food to eat and be treated, it is important that those who have returned to their homes are protected from mosquitoes. “There is urgent need for government to ensure that these people sleep under a treated nets or carry out indoor residual spraying in those areas,” he warned.

PHOTO: Woman Blames Husband For Obama’s Re-Election , Runs Him Over With A Jeep

PHOTO
Upset over the result of last week’s presidential election, an Arizona woman ran over her husband with her car, believing him to be directly responsible for Obama’s reelection because he didn’t vote.
According to police in Gilbert, 28-year-old Holly Solomon of Mesa and her husband Daniel argued loudly in a local parking lot before Holly got in her Jeep SUV and began chasing Daniel around. She eventually managed to pin him underneath the vehicle as he was trying to run away.
Daniel sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.
“According to Daniel, Holly believed her family was going to face hardship as a result of President Obama’s re-election,” Gilbert police Sergeant Jesse Sanger said in a statement.
Daniel’s presidential preference likely wouldn’t have mattered much to Romney: He won Arizona by a margin of some 200,000 votes. Holly was booked on charges of domestic violence charges of aggravated assault. Shockingly, neither alcohol nor drugs were listed as contributing factors.
