Emstar; real name Emeka Samson Ndokwa; drops this emotional thrilling and heart touching rap single titled "WHICH WAY".
The song is in memory of the abducted Chibok School girls who have been missing for over a year.
 The lyrics of this song would make you struggle to hold back tears as he imagines what it could be like for the girls and their parents.
Its been 500days, yet he maintains that we must never forget them. In the wake of the killings and voices in the land. One question begging answer is "Which Way" are we headed?

The Castle Lounge Kaduna Host Winners City People Awards 2015

After the just concluded City People Awards 2015 held in Lagos - Nigeria, The Castle Promotions, an entertainment/promotional company based in the northern part of Nigeria (Kaduna State) hosted some of the winners of the award, the likes of C.E.O House of Productions (H.O.P Abuja) FatSony, Dan Hausawa (DH), Sam Akpan (Head of Station of LoveFM) and also top Deejays like Dj Adex Dee of LoveFM Abuja, Dj MagicFingerz of RayPower Abuja, Dj Trigga, AOPs like, KapitalBigBoss of RaypowerFM/AIT, Victor Velmo Kiss FM and entrepreneurs in the state at “The Castle Lounge”.

It was an awesome experience with total fun all thru the night.

Waconzy honored at the 6th Annual World Music & Independent Film Festival Hollywood

Waconzy was recently honored with a humanitarian award at the 6th Annual World Music and Independent Film Festival Holywood USA in recognition of his contribution to the fight against malaria in Africa via his Waconzy Versus Malaria Zero Tolerance campaign.
Waconzy launched his Anti-Malaria foundation in 2013 with the aim of eradicating malaria from the shores of Africa and has since touched so many lives.

AFRICA FASHION WEEK LONDON TO PRODUCE FASHION SHOW FOR AFRICA ON THE SQUARE

An exclusive fashion show directed by Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) which will feature designers from the contemporary African UK fashion scene as well as new, up and coming designers.  AFWL will again be supported by Motions Hair UK andAbbie May Make Up Artist, providing the fiercest looks for our models on stage.

There will be an African market selling a range of African themed products, including fashion and arts and crafts, plus food stalls, and a host of activities for children and families to get involved in, such as hair braiding, face-painting, mosaics-making and batik-making. The event is programmed by Open the Gate.
ABOUT AFRICA ON THE SQUARE

The Mayor of London Boris Johnson has confirmed more details of the African festival he is bringing to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 10 October, as part of the capital's Black History Month celebrations.

Everyone is invited to attend Africa on the Square, which has an exciting programme inspired by the traditions and cultures of the African continent. The free celebration follows on from the huge success of last year’s inaugural event and is sponsored by Lebara and Air France and supported by media partner The Voice.

British Council launches major season of UK and Nigerian Art

The British Council has launched UK/Nigeria 2015–16, a major season of arts in Nigeria aimed at building new audiences, creating new collaborations and strengthening relationships between the UK and Nigeria.

The announcement, at the garden of the British Council office in Ikoyi, Lagos, brought together, the crème de la crème of the arts and creative industry in Nigeria.

With live poem recital from Wana Wana, popular on air personality, speeches from Simon Shercliff, Acting British High Commissioner to Nigeria; Connie Price, Country Director Nigeria, British Council; Lola Shoneyin, Founder, author and founder of Ake Arts and Book Festival; and a night of delightful music featuring DJ Sose and a live performance from KPeace, Nigeria Idol season 5 winner known for his brand of Fuji infused music, the event was a beautiful experience.

Showcasing the collaboration that the season aims to achieve, the event was replete with several UK and Nigerian item like tea cups, palm wine gourds, and wine glasses.

The event also featured a tie and dye session where participants made tie and dye with Nike Arts Gallery.

Red Media Africa in partnership with Troyka Holdings and the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University is set to host West Africa's biggest omni-media summit on October 15 and 18 in Lagos, Nigeria.

Called 'The RED Summit', this event will bring together companies and individuals from across Africa with vested interests in media as they explore new trends in a rapidly changing landscape. International and local experts, alongside investors and fellow participants will have opportunities to exchange ideas about the future of media in Africa.

Isime Esene, Director of Content at Red Media Africa and Head, Organizing Committee of The RED Summit said, "Nigeria, and Africa as a whole, is making giant strides in media and there's no better time to seize the narrative, tell our stories, and establish ourselves as an integral part of a fast evolving global media landscape."

The RED Summit is part of events celebrating 10 years of Red Media Africa's impact on Nigeria’s media space.
The event will feature several invited speakers including Ije Nwokorie, Global CEO of Wolff Olins, an internationally renowned brand consultancy; Biodun Shobanjo, Chairman, Troyka Holdings; Mo Abudu, CEO EbonyLife TV, and others.

The event will also feature a dinner and an awards night where a select group of media icons and thought leaders will be honored for their contribution to the growing media industry in Nigeria.
