CHARITY ACTIVITIES Synergy Alliance Inc. engages in at least one charity activity annually.

Synergy Alliance Inc. is an aggregation of men from different walks of life with similar interests and goals. It is a socio-philanthropic Association that draws membership from different professions; and it is non-political, non- religious and non-ethnic. The Objectives of the Association areTo promote philanthropy and  provide support for the less privileged in the societyTo promote unity  of purpose and better friendly relationship among members  and their familiesTo enable members share in the success,  challenges and difficulties of one another. In May 1988 when it was formed, the initial steps were taken by a  few founding fathers (friends with similar backgrounds in broadcast  and print journalism and advertising) who realized that with matrimonial responsibilities and shifting professional careers taking everybody’s attention , their bonds of friendship would loosen if there was no purpose or vehicle for continuity. The name, Synergy Alliance was coined from the first meeting in one of our members ’ house in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria to represent the pooling of strength for  the purpose of friendship and charity for the less privileged. The Motto “As One” was also deemed an adequate representation of the unifying nature of the Alliance, going forward . While some member s have come and gone over the past two decades, the Allianc e has grown in leaps and bounds through the efforts of the core  of founding members, dynamic executive representation and  the infusion of new vibrant members who are holding the torch  alot for a more glorious future. A fully admitted member becomes a ‘Synergian’ or ‘Sgn’ for short and our salutation is ‘Great Synergians’  followed by the response, ‘As One’.
