Four children were found dead last Wednesday at Okponglo, a suburb of Accra after suffocating to death in a Citreon Saloon Car.
The car with registration number GW9146Q was parked at a fitting shop in the area where the children are reported to use as a playground.
The deceased, 4-years-old Ernestina Annan, 4-years-old Josephine Martey, 7-year-old Samira Ibrahim and 2-years-old Farouk Ibrahim reside close to the fitting shop.<.
Residents suspected that the children were playing in the vehicle before their untimely death.Their bodies have since been deposited at the Legon Hospital Mortuary.The Legon Police has however commenced investigations into the matter but according to them, the owner of the fitting shop cannot be held accountable for the incident but will be invited to assist in investigations.
