Kwankwaso Ratifies Malaysian as Vice Chancellor of N’West University, Kano

Kano State government has ratified the appointment of Professor Dato Dr. Mohammed Razali Bin Agus as the substantive Vice Chancellor of the North West University, established by the government of Kano state.
Professor Bin Agus was until recently, the Vice Chancellor/Chief Executive, Twintech International College of Technology, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Also appointed are Faruk M. ‘Yanganau, Registrar, Sunusi Nassarawa, Librarian while Yusuf Isa is to serve as the University Bursar.
Receiving the new principal officers in his officers, the state Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso charged them to be steadfast in nurturing the university into an enviable model in Nigeria and beyond.
Governor Kwankwaso said although the task of managing a new tertiary institution is a challenging responsibility, he was confident that principal officers will live up to expectation taking into consideration their antecedents.
He thanked the chairman and members of the implementation of the university for a job well done, hoping that they will continue to work hand in hand with its new management to achieve the desired goals.
In his remarks, the chairman of the Implementation Committee of the University, Professor Hafiz Abubakar told the government that all the principal officers were recruited after painstaking assessments and interviews, assuring that with men of their calibre, the university will commence its activities on a sound footing.
On his part, Professor Dato Dr. Mohammed Razali Bin Agus, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues promised to work diligently towards growth of the university and the development of education in the state.
