Nollywood reports say one of Nigeria’s popular actresses Rukky Sanda has rained curses on a Nigerian entertainment journalist over rumours that she is a lesbian.
Nigeriafilms.com in an earlier report interpreted the actress’ comments in a different interview with New Journal to mean she had confirmed she and Tonto Dikeh were lesbians.
In that interview, Rukky reportedly said, “Tonto Dike is my baby. She’s one of my best friends. She’s fun, naughty and amazing. She’s my baby.”
The website’s lesbian article however questioned what she meant by those comments and further cast certain insinuations.
Last week, the website came back with reports that the actress was not happy with the interpretations given to her comments.
A source close to Rukky told Nigeriafilms.com that Rukky was angry about the way the interview was interpreted.
She hence vowed never to grant any interview to any media outfit again. For her, the media always enjoyed turning things around in order to sell their stories.
The source said that Rukky went as far as cursing the writer of the story and said some unprintable things about the journalist and the media.
Rukky and Tonto are very close friends. Their closeness led to rumours that both actresses could be partners. Tonto is yet to react to the rumuors.....
