African Queen crooner and Hypertek Honcho, 2face Idibia and former Mohits Records’ leading star and now Good Music artiste, D’banj will on Friday, November 30, 2012 , lead other Nigerian acts including  Femi Kuti, Flavour and Sir Shina Peters to perform at this year’s Top10mics concert, holding at the exquisite Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This is coming up less than a week after the pop giants announced recording a collabo.
The Top10mics concert which is in its sophomore year is being organised by entertainment powerhouse, Koga Studios. The concert will have ace humorist Bright Okpocha alias BasketMouth as its host. The presenter of the popular TV show, Big Friday, will reel out rib cracking jokes to fans.

The concert’s maiden edition held last year at the expansive Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS). Top music acts  which headlined the show last year were 2face, MI, P Square, Femi Kuti, Mocheddah, Obesere, Duncan Mighty, Wizkid, Eldee and Sir Shina Peters.
Speaking on the artistes that will be performing at this year’s concert, Koga’s spokesman, said ‘’the choice of 2face Idibia, D’banj, Flavour, Femi Kuti and Sir Shina Peters cannot be faulted as these acts are very successful in their genres of music, picking them was a stroll in the park.’’
Meanwhile, at a Beat FM interview last weekend, 2face and D’banj disclosed that they have already shot a video of their new song titled ‘Feeling good’ which is produced Don Jazzy. The  heavyweight musicians sang some snippets, raising anticipation for its release.
They duo once hinted about the possibility of their recording a collabo. Both artistes have had a busy year so far. 2face released his fifth solo album ‘Away and Beyond‘ and has been on tour in the US and UK. He also tied the knot with long-standing girlfriend, Annie Macaulay after a surprise proposal on Valentine’s Day.
D’banj, on the other hand, made headlines for months after his break-up with former partner, Don Jazzy. He successfully broke into the UK market under his G.O.O.D Music/Mercury Records record-distribution deal with his monster hit single ‘Oliver’. He is scheduled to release his fourth album ‘Mr Endowed’ soonest.
