A cargo truck with a Burkinabe registration number has caught fire at Achimota near the collapsed melcom building. The fire service team responded quickly to the scene and are working frantically to put out the fire. The truck which was carrying a load of various plastic and bottled materials is believed to have been headed for Burkina Faso.
Eye Witnesses say, a metal bar on the top of the cargo truck hit one of the slabs of new the overpass having an extreme impact which ignited fire and caught the cartons in the truck.
