Driver to Governor Amaechi’s wife electrocuted

It wasn’t a good weekend for Rivers State Government under the leadership of Governor Rotimi Amaechi as one of the drivers attached to the Government House, Mr. Ibiba Jack died after stepping on a naked wire on the floor.
According to the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Mr. Dave Iyofor, the tragic incident took place at the victim’s official residence in the Government House at the early hours of Saturday.
He added that the governor and the first lady are still yet to recover from the shock.
Iyofor said “Governor Amaechi and his wife, whom Ibiba worked with directly, are indeed deeply shocked and saddened by this unfortunate loss. They sympathize with the bereaved family.”
A reliable insider in Government House who doesn’t want his name to be mentioned said that Jack met his untimely death while trying to rescue a man from being electrocuted and in the process, stepped on a naked wire on the floor.
Asked if he’s married, the source further disclosed that the victims doesn’t tell anybody about his private life
