Industry Night Launched In Ghana
Industry Night, a music themed event that has been holding in numerous countries across the continent, will now also take place in Ghana. The Greater Accra branch of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) on Friday, launched the Industry Night Ghana at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.
In attendance were executives from the national office of MUSIGA including the president Bice Osei Kufour, Ahuma Ocansey. Also present were some musicians; Ded Buddy – Qweci, OD4, Shegee (formerly of female group Tripple M), and a member from the gospel duo Tagoe Sisters among others.
The Industry Night Ghana seeks to bring the corporate and music community together, to network and forge synergies that should go a long way to benefit the parties. “It is to bring the music industry and corporate under one big umbrella,” said the Greater Accra Chairman of MUSIGA, Nana Kwaku Duah, also known as TIC TAC.
The Industry Night Ghana (INGH) will provide a perfect atmosphere for business socialization and the promotion of Ghana music and entertainment to increase the demand for musicians and music related companies.The event will help provide the right options and varieties to choose from when thinking of music ambassadors or the use of musical content”.
Industry Night Ghana will be held once every month at Golden Tulip with the maiden edition expected to kick of in three months. MUSIGA President, Obour also launched the official website for the event series, www.industrynightghana.com.
