Miley Cyrus has finally responded to Jay-Z’s veiled digs at her, insisting she’s actually flattered he would bother to tweet about her at all.
Jay-Z poked an insult at the former Disney star during a Q&A session with fans on his Twitter page on Monday night relating to her constant ‘twerking’.
He received the following tweet from a fan: ‘Do you think twerking should replace the electric slide at weddings?’ and replied with Miley in mind, tweeting: ‘Personally??? YES.. Miley is a GOD.’
Some fans presumed this to be sarcasm.
But undeterred Miley, who was clearly keeping a close eye on the dad-of-one’s Twitter feed, hit back defiantly: ‘Call it what you want. But I don’t see Mr. Carter shoutin any of you bitches out. #twerkmileytwerk.’
Taking a further shot at the 20-year-old, when another fan asked, ‘

“You really think Miley Cyrus still twerking somewhere in America?" a fan asked.
Jay responded, "yes! she represents an old worlds worst nightmare," adding, "Black neighbour, and the daughter not seeing color."
When another fan asked if “twerking should replace the electric slide at weddings,” the music mogul replied, “Personally???YES.. Miley is a GOD.”
Cyrus has also responded positively to Jay's explanation. "Call it what you want. But I don't see Mr. Carter shoutin any of you bitches out. #twerkmileytwerk," she tweeted. (Hov also retweeted her message).
"Exactly right. I am an old worlds worst nightmare. #outwiththeold #inwiththenewnew," she added.
But yesterday’s Twitter spat isn’t the first time Jay-Z has been a little catty to Miley.He alluded to her twerking obsession on his new album, Magna Carta… Holy Grail, in the track Somewhere In America.
The lyrics read: ‘When I was talking Instagram, last thing you wanted was your picture snapped. Seeing Miley’s tweets last night, Jay-Z responded by retweeting her tweet and writing: ‘#factsonly.’
Wanting to have the final word, she then acted as if they were best pals by tweeting him saying: ‘@S_C_ we trendin world wide. OH HAAAY.
