Rick Owens had his spring/summer 2014 collection presentation on Paris Fashion Week. Everything would’ve been great and same as every other fashion show if there wasn’t for Rick Owens’ crazy creativeness. His fashion show was some kind of a performance, not just a simple runway.
It was a real contradiction to all the other shows with skinny models.
Owens’ models were curved, plus-size models and were of lighter, as well as of darker skin color.
Somehow, it represented a statement against all the debates about black and white models, and fat and skinny models.
But, there were a lot of negative thoughts on this brave move of Owens. What do you think?
