SOUND SULTAN “NATURAL SOMETHING” LEADS THIS WEEK’S MTV BASE OFFICIAL NAIJA TOP TEN

 As KCee’s “Pullover” and Wizkid’s “Jaiye Jaiye” Debut on Charts

Sound Sultan’s “Natural Something” tops this week’s MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 Powered by Star Music, replacing Illbliss’s I’m Sorry” which spent just one week at number one.

DJ Spinall joins MTV Base VJ Ehis this week in the Official Naija Top 10 studio to talk through the hottest music videos on the chart.

D’Banj continues his rapid progress up the chart moving up another two places to number 3 with “Finally”. “Duro Soke” by Olamide goes up one slot to number 6 while “I Swear” by Ice Prince also moves up one place to number 7.  Davido’s “Skelewu” also continues to climb, now resting at number 8, while Dr Sid’s “Talented” shows signs of progressgoing up two places to number 4 after 3 weeks at number 6.

This week’s chart sees two new entries: “Pull Over” by Kcee at number 9 and WizKid’s “Jaiye Jaiye” at number 10.

“Voom Va” by Skuki slips two places to number 5, while former number one DJ Xclusive, and Dammy Krame slip out of the Top 10 altogether.

The MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 premieres on MTV Base on NTA every Friday night at 12:30AM. The chart rundown can be seen on MTV Base every Tuesday 11PM, on AIT on Tuesdays at 10:30PM, and onSTV on Thursdays at 7PM.  Next week’s chart will be unveiled on Friday 6 December on NTA 12:30AM.

Every week, the Official Naija Top 10 powered by Star Music is put together by an elite panel of judges comprising Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists and tastemakers, working with MTV Base to pick the winners and losers in the week’s chart. 

On the panel are Onos Ovueraye (Bella Naija.com)DJ Humility (Rhythm FM), DJ Jimmy JattDJ Xclusive (Cool FM)Big Time (Rhythm FM), DJ Caise (The Beat FM), Toolz (The Beat FM) and Osagie Alonge (Nigerian Entertainment Today).
