Kanye finally opens up on Jay Z & Beyonce skipping his wedding,:Says Kim f**king turns him on
In his GQ interview, he opened up on Jay Z skipping his wedding and in why he married Kim insisting "Kim is this girl who f**king turns me on*
Jay Z and Beyonce missing his wedding..
All that, I wouldn’t even speak on. It doesn’t even matter to me whatsoever, who would show up. Because the most important person to show up there, to me, was Kim. And that’s all that matters to me. I had to fight for that for seven years. But the fact that these other people showed up that are from such different worlds but have done such dynamic things—they’re all, in a way, equal to what Kim has done in TV or what I had done in music. I was so moved that I just wanted people to stop and think they weren’t sitting at a table full of fashion people, they weren’t sitting at a table full of celebrities, they weren’t sitting at a table full of movie directors......
. It really was a representation of the way we receive information today, post-Internet. And so Page Six can’t overshadow the main point: Carine Roitfeld was sitting next to Kim Kardashian. That alone to me is like the same moment when I brought Mos Def to the studio with Jay Z. It’s about the people, and the fact that they’re from different walks of life, and that they’re working together and not discriminating against each other. There was a class system, and now there’s a creative class system, and I think that’s what you were talking about a bit—the class system of creativity. And my point is, they were all at her wedding.

Fashion Trunk Show: When Fashion Shows Don’t Make Sense
We are sure one or two of you would have attended a fashion show that is of no value and probably bored you out of your mind. Secondly there was nothing of value to buy; the clothes exhibited were too expensive or not ready to wear.
These and some more issues are what the Fashion Trunk Show wants to address. Fashion Trunk Show which is scheduled for the 27th of July 2014, is a fashion event with a difference. The show is about getting the best and the latest in fashion trends and accessories, all of which would be ‘ready to wear.’ Continue...

With this in mind, the organizers, St. Eves magazine and Rose di Omimi Fashion House are calling on Fashion designers and Jewelers that can come up with the best in ‘ready to wear’ fashion statements to be a part of this event.
Are you a fashion designer, a jeweler, or a fashion-conscious person looking for a fashion show that is worth the effort? Do you have what people can buy on the spot? Are you a retailer that has ‘ready to wear’ clothes, shoes, bags and necklaces? Then the upcoming Fashion Trunk Show is just for you, as the show would enable participants to expand their clientele base, get better quality products, satisfy the craving for the best in the fashion world and be exposed to the media.

ECOWAS FASHION WEEK 2014
Fashion is one huge contributor of economic growth for any country and/or region if the right things and structures are in place. Take for example,
Milan, regarded as the current fashion capital of the world has major fashion houses labels such as Versace, Gucci, Armani, Valentino, Prada, Moschino and Missoni headquartered in the city. This greatly contribute to its economy. The United States of America enjoys about 25% of its GDP through fashion alone! Arguably, China, the world's biggest fashion land mine "is a rapidly growing consumer market and more companies are looking for ways to develop marketing, branding and communication that is relevant to Chinese consumers." [SOURCE: marketingtochina.com]. From the foregoing, Africa, particularly the West African region could enjoy attendant benefits of fashion given the raw talent and creativity available, moreso the continent is overly blessed with mineral and human resources. Again, with the right structures in place, West Africa and extension could be a fashion "land mine" just like China.
