AFWA | AFCW SIGNS A MULTI-MILLION CONTRACT WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF EQUATORIAL GUINEA


The new African Fashion Ambassador who is also the The founder of Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam (AFWA) and Africa Fashion and Cultural Week (AFCW) Ms Diana Tambe signed on November 1st 2017 a momorandum of understanding with the Minister of Culture and Handicraft Promotion; His Excellency Rufino Ndong Esono to organise the 7th edition of AFCW in Malabo, the capital city of the Equatorial Guinea.

The program is set for October 2nd - 7th 2018 with the designated venue for attendance none other than the Sipopo Congress Center in Malabo. The building includes a large conference room with 1,600 seats and two more with 350 and 150 seats with a VIP Conference Room with a capacity of 400 seats. 

Contributing to the development in the fashion and art sector, Malabo will host a wide range of international press/media, Afrobeat artists, local handicraft artist, a diversity of buyers, vendors, retailers, and fashion designers brand from 24 African countries. 

Hosted by Iconic Nollywood celebrity actor and movie producer Ramsey Nouah, alongside Hollywood Super Model. The showcases will include 10 international runway models and 30 national models. 

The First Lady, who’s also the Godmother to the programme will grace the event with the presence of African Ambassadors and national dignitaries.
