Vast and Smash, known in the music industry as Bracket, have been paid the sum of N15m for their new album titled Cupid Stories which contains tracks like Looking At You, Stagger, Me and U, Girl, Champion and Time among others.
The much anticipated album, which officially hit the shelves on Tuesday, is being marketed by the trio of T-Joe, Ahbu Ventures and Obaino Music, who paid the Yori Yori crooners for their effort.
Life&Beat gathered that the 14-track album featuring artistes like Wizkid, M.I, Tuface, Banky W and Flavour was produced by Flip Tyce, Mastakraft, Dekomzy, Meca E and Phyno.
Girl, a track from the album which features new MOBO award winner, Wizkid, had been enjoying reviews on music download and social network sites on the Internet since Monday, September 26, 2011, before the album officially went on sale this week.
On why the album is titled Cupid Stories, Vast said, “It is because we have many melodious love songs in it.”
He added that the album is different from the previous ones because it has a unique Hip Hop feel and reaches out to different tribes.
