Toke Makinwa and Chris Okenwa to host MGBN 2012
Radio presenter Toke Makinwa of Silverbird Rhythm Lagos and Chris Okenwa of Silverbird Rhythm Abuja will host this year’s edition of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN)2012 beauty contest.
Okenwa co- hosted the 2011 edition of the pageant with Michelle Dede of the Big Brother Fame in Lagos.
Toke Makinwa is an On Air Presenter (OAP) on the Morning Drive; a wake up show on 93.7 FM Lagos while Chris Okenwa, anchors View Point on Rhythm 94.7FM Abuja.
According to the Spokesman for the event, Alozie Uzoukwu, ‘Both presenters are to host the 2012 MBGN event in Benin on Saturday evening’.
The event which marks the 25th anniversary celebration of the pageant will hold in Benin City at the Best Western Home Ville Hotel, Etete, GRA on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
We’re told the event will have in attendance the presence of the Edo State Governor, reps from the Oba of Benin Kingdom, ex- beauty Queens, Captains and CEOs of industries and more. The event will be transmitted live from the venue.
Performers include 2face Idibia, Banky W and Chuddy K.
