The UNVEILED PROJECT also aims at exposing each contestant to the
challenges and opportunities that abound in the Nigerian fashion market and
then help to equip them with ideas and methods to succeed in the fashion
industry here in Nigeria and globally.
To ensure that the aim of The UNVEILED PROJECT is achieved, this
competition would run from march till November after a series of stages
that would truly test and nurture the talents of the contestants in order
to indentify and hone a range of creative skills and abilities that each
person possess. Some of the assigned tasks would include designing for
random clients (such as random university students and other individuals),
celebrities and TV presenters. Contestants who make it to the semi finals
would have the option of attending a fashion school or work as interns with
an established fashion designer to help them prepare for the challenges
ahead as well as to design and showcase their own collection at the
December edition of the UNVEILED FASHION SHOW. *There would also be a free
one day seminar for all contestants.*
The unveiled project is an annual event giving participants enough time to
develop and perfect their knowledge of the fashion industry. This maiden
edition kicks off in Lagos and is proudly supported by Mylnk Globals
Solutions, Snitch NGR, Trends NG, iDoPub Naija, Reel Radio, Concert Plus
