His father Clinton, who shared his cherished childhood photographs of his son with the New York Daily News, still lives in Tappahannock and works as a prison guard. Chris Brown has had his fair share of legal troubles that include beating Rihanna in 2009, a bloody, bottle-throwing melee with rapper Drake in 2012 and getting into an altercation with singer Frank Ocean in January 2013, but he was once a studious kid.
