- On June 21st, it was the gathering of the creme-de-la-creme of Anambra state, from government to non government functionaries, politicians, business executives, fashionista's, upwardly mobile youths as well as students for the much anticipated event: MR. UNIVERSE ANAMBRA.
The event which held at Marble Arc hotel in Awka saw over 16 contestants representing various local government areas vie for the coveted title as well as a life time experience. At the end, it was Francis Beacon who won the day; he emerged Mr. Universe Anambra 2013. He won a brand new car, an opportunity to represent Anambra at the 2014 Mr. Universe Nigeria, One year modelling contract + wardrobe as well as a start-up fund for any business of choice.
