This past week, singer Solange Knowles took time out of her busy schedule to let her voice be heard in a silent rally held in Brooklyn, protesting in response to the "not guilty" verdict in the Trayvon Martin trial.
For her part, the star kept it cool and casual, rocking a navy blue tee and cut off shorts, teamed with a pair of $195 Loeffler Randal Odile Raffia Lace Up Espadrille Sneakers.
It's nice to see celebrities making strides to support a great cause, I hope more people become active and get involved.
