Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has signed a new five-year contract at Old Trafford that will see the Mexican forward join the top earners at the club.
United recently offered midfielder Tom Cleverly a four-year contract as the Premier League champions continue to tie down their current squad to long-term deals, with Danny Welbeck also offered improved terms.
Hernandez bagged 20 goals in his debut season in the English top flight, and becomes one of 13 players to be offered a contract extension in the past 12 months by Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
