Rawlings Heard God And Repented – Samuel George Nartey

A member of Governments Communication Team, Samuel George Nartey has stated that the Founder of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ex-President Rawlings, has heard the call of God hence his decision to join the party’s campaign trail.

Speaking on NewsFile, Samuel indicated that the Ex-Presidents decision is based on the fact that he has seen the light.

“Jerry John Rawlings, for want of a better expression has heard the call of God and has heeded and repented, and has seen the change in the NDC.

Today he has full comprehension of the hope in the NDC, full comprehension in the shining light in the NDC which John Dramani Mahama has brought about. He’s seen the change, he’s seen the hope…” Sam George said.

It will be remembered that the Ex-President, some time last week, indicated his decision to join the John Mahama’s campaign for re-election. He had earlier also urged disgruntled party members to reconcile their differences and unite for an NDC victory in next month’s elections.

The Ex-President’s decision has drawn a lot of debate on the political scene as it’s a sharp contrast from Mr.Rawlings utterances lately and also the opposite of what he told the NPP’s leader Nana Addo when the latter paid a courtesy call on him at his residence.
