African Fabrics As Ghanaian Fashion Brand Christie Brown Presents ‘Resort 2012’ Lookbook

Christie Brown is a Ghanaian based luxury women's fashion brand that aims is to satisfy the stylish urge of "that modern woman who seeks a true taste of Africa". The Adire fabric plays a prominent role in Christie brown’s 2013 collection.

She plays around with different fabrics in this collection and experiments with a mix-match of Organza, Adire, Lace, Chiffon, and more. The pieces are created in refined elegance and the colours are earthy, mild and soothing to the senses.

These pieces according to creative director, Aisha Obuobi was inspired by Grace of Grazia Fabrics, a woman who’s built a 20 year career on fusing colors to create one of a kind prints in her tie-dye/batik business.
