MTV Base is set to launch the first definitive chart of Nigerian contemporary music - 'The Official Naija Top 10.' The show will be a weekly music chart countdown that will air on MTV Base starting 12th of March, 2013.
'The Official Naija Top 10' will be fronted by MTV Base's brand new Nigerian VJ Ehiz (@SpecialSlim), winner of the 2013 MTV Base VJ Search Nigeria.

Jimmy Jatt will join Ehiz on the first episode of the show and subsequent weeks will see Ehiz joined by other well-known celebrities and/or members of the chart selection panel, as they take us behind the scenes for exclusive music news and insider knowledge as well as the hottest tracks and artists Nigeria has to offer.
Members of the elite panel include Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists and tastemakers such as DJ Jimmy Jatt, Cool FM's DJ Xclusive, DJ Humility and Big Time (Rhythm FM), DJ Case and Toolz (The Beat FM) and Osagie Alonge (The NET NG)."
Each week, 'The Official Naija Top 10' will be published in Nigerian Entertainment Today.
